I’m Laura! Found Coaching comes out of wanting to work with people reach their goals. I’ve been described as a process-oriented people person who gets things done. I help people establish goals and move them forward. I feel especially passionate about creativity, balancing work and life, moving people into leadership positions, while also finding meaning and space outside of work. I’ve been training, mentoring, and coaching team members and new employees since 2012. I love coaching and, wanting to learn more, I completed the the Erickson Professional Coach certification in 2019. It’s been some of the most rewarding work and learning I’ve done in my life. As for me, I’m a curious person. Well, that could be interpreted a couple of different ways, and they’re probably both true. But, foremost, I love to learn. If something is mysterious to me, I want to figure it out. I’ve been a researcher for most of my school and professional careers, and it suits my curiosity just fine. I like to try new roles, learn new skills, and I believe it’s given me a richer working life. Officially, I have a BA Honours in English and Creative Writing, a MA in English, and a BEd in Junior Intermediate Education. Unofficially, I love music, art, trying and learning new things.
